First and foremost, I would like to express my deep sense of gratitude to each one of you for your constant support, love and concern towards the college which enables and encourages us to strive hard to carry forward the mission of spreading value-based knowledge to all our beloved students.

Education drives away ignorance and through illumination, it emboldens persons to a righteous thought and action. It empowers and enlarges the horizon of their mind. It energizes a society and enables a human being to earn her/his living with respect and praise. Education is not an act of acquiring knowledge but learning a skill to lead life and forming one’s personality. This is an ennobling process of growth.

Success comes to those who work hard and stays with those who don’t rest on past laurels. Lilabati Mahavidyalaya, Jateswar, Dist.- Alipurduar, West Bengal started its journey in the year 2013 with the aim of providing higher education to the students and empowering them, so that they can be financially independent, socially conscious, morally upright and emotionally balanced. Lilabati Mahavidyalaya is an amalgamation of competent and skilful teachers, state of the art infrastructure, safe and supportive environment for its students to provide a perfect balance of academics, sports, artistic and social opportunities.
