The college is affiliated to the University of North Bengal, constituted by the Govt. of West Bengal (Act XXVII of 1961 dt. 15th December, 1961 & Act XXV of 1981 dt. 16th September, 1981). the college follows all acts and statutes passed by the Govt. of West Bengal and the University as per UGC norms and guidelines.
